About the Campaign

Jan Samvad Yatra is a people-focused outreach initiative conducted across more than 200 villages of Sheo Assembly Constituency. Its core mission is to understand ground-level challenges related to education, roads, electricity, water, health, and livelihood by directly engaging with the public.

Development Challenges Identified

The Yatra highlights several persistent gaps in rural development:

  • Lack of school infrastructure and high student dropout rates
  • Shortage of teachers in both primary and secondary education
  • Poor road connectivity — over 40% rural habitations still rely on kutcha or
    partially constructed roads
  • Irregular electricity supply affecting homes, agriculture, and businesses

Purpose & Impact

Through direct interaction with villagers, the Jan Samvad Yatra captures
real challenges faced by rural citizens. It ensures that the voices of marginalized
communities are heard and documented, enabling
MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati to align development strategies with the
ground realities of the region.
