On the occasion of Youth Day in 2025, the “Rohidi Music Festival” organized by
MLA Shri Ravindra Singh Bhati gave new dimensions to the art and culture of
Western Rajasthan. This landmark event not only offered a grand platform to regional folk
artists but also delivered an unforgettable cultural experience to thousands in attendance.

A Melodious Evening of Folk & Culture

Padma Shri awardee Anwar Khan, along with renowned artists such as
Moti Khan, Kheta Khan, Chhotu Khan and
100+ performers mesmerized the audience with soulful and energetic performances that brought
Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage to life.

Spiritual Presence of Saint Community

The festival was graced by the presence of revered saints including
Gorakhnath Ji Maharaj, Ganesh Nath Ji Maharaj,
Daulat Nath Ji, and Anand Puri Ji Maharaj.
Their blessings infused a divine aura into the cultural celebration.

Successful Execution Against All Odds

Originally planned at Rohidi, the event faced a sudden cancellation of permission by the
administration. Despite this major setback, within just two days Shri Ravindra Singh Bhati
and his team successfully arranged the new venue —
Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, Sheo — and completed all preparations.
The success proved that strong resolve turns challenges into achievements.

Massive Public Participation & Boost to Tourism

Thousands of people from across Rajasthan attended the festival.
It not only celebrated music and folk culture but also helped promote tourism in the
Barmer district by showcasing the cultural richness of Western Rajasthan on a grand stage.

A memorable moment was when Jagmal Singh, known for his
36-foot-long moustache, greeted MLA Bhati in his signature style.
